Cambodia --MTW Faculty and Interns educate Village Health Workers on the IMCI Strategy to save children's lives

Cambodia has a population of over 15 million people with over 31% of the population under the age of 15 years. Many children are still dying under the age of five years with 43% of them newborns.  Mission to the World (MTW) and interns, led by Dr Dale Knutson and Dr Karen McClure have spent the last weeks educating village health worker students in 2 villages on the general danger signs, prevention and effective management of childhood illness also known as the Community-IMCI strategy.
